Mark Pugh:
Too Extreme for
Delaware

Mark Pugh’s positions are out of the mainstream for our community.

Pugh won’t support women’s reproductive freedom.

With Roe v. Wage overturned, we can’t take a chance on politicians who don’t respect our reproductive rights. Pugh sides with Republican leaders who support criminalizing abortions without exception for rape, incest, or the woman’s life.

Pugh is more extreme than a typical Republican.

He is part of a dangerous movement that sows doubt about the sanctity of our elections, will stand against efforts to make it easier for working families to vote, and declares on his website that some voters have more legitimacy than others.

No answers for mass shootings.

Republicans like Pugh don’t have answers for how to keep our children safe from gun violence and mass shootings. He is supported by the gun lobby and will side with his party leaders who oppose life-saving laws to keep guns out of the wrong hands.

Bad for our community’s schools.

Our local school district is the source of a lot of our community’s pride and connectedness, but Pugh wants to change all of that with a radical plan to divert taxpayer dollars to elite schools that can pick and choose their students and aren’t accountable to taxpayers, leading to larger class sizes and less funding for everyone else.
